The Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) is a regulatory branch of the central nervous system that helps us adapt to changes in our micro and macro environment; adjusting body, organ and tissue function in response to stress. The ANS is responsible for the homoeostasis of cardiovascular health, digestive health and importantly our emotional health (neurotransmitters).

The Autonomic Nervous System is divided into two branches- the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic branches. When either becomes dominant, an imbalance occurs between the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic divisions, resulting in autonomic failure.

In this module, you will learn clinically reliable protocols for the management of Parasympathetic dominance and the management of common conditions associated with autonomic failure such as insomnia, depression, nervous exhaustion, IBS, hypotension and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
This module will provide practical clinical solutions with herbal, nutritional and lifestyle medicine that will deliver fast and lasting clinical results for your patients.
